yeah for sure i can see the idea there. love your grove but im not sucked in. maybe instead of compression this track could use some more color

could use some fx and maybe some instruments that sound a little less stock sounding. over all great progression and your music theory great!

i get the idea. i like the idea. take this and play with the levels a bit. with some mixing work i could be imagining cry little sister. "lost boys" you know.

That would defeat the purpose. The 2 Hour Track Sundays tracks are all done in 2 hours or less (as per competition/party guidelines). Mastering always comes so late for me that I don't get much chance to accomplish anything decent, sadly.

And I love The Anix' version of Cry Little Sister. Great song.

i love this. love every element. just like me you have some eq'ing problems. loaded up a parametric on this track and it looks like you have a lot of high end even in some of your builds. try taking some of that out with some compression

I think i went in heavy on the high end excitation so i went ahead and dialed it back a bit as well as some of the eqing on the sharper sounds, probably still needs a bit more work to get it just right but this should be easier on the ears haha. Either way thank you for the review glad you liked it.
